The US Open posted clips of Eala during her training session, where she was also seen hitting with former men’s world No. 3 Grigor Dimitrov.

Eala flew to the Big Apple after wrapping up her stints at the Cincinnati Open, Canadian Open and Mubadala DC Open, where she won her first WTA Tour-level title.

Aside from the women’s singles, Eala will also compete in the mixed doubles tournament with Felix Auger-Aliassime.

Eala, currently world No. 20 in the WTA, is set for her second main-draw appearance at Flushing Meadows after her breakthrough run last season.
