MANILA, Philippines — Comedienne AiAi delas Alas earned extra cash after selling the rings given to her by ex-husband Gerald Sibayan.
As seen in a new video by content creator Boss Toyo, AiAi approached the entrepreneur seeking closure and to "turn pain into hope."
AiAi revealed she was selling her engagement and her third wedding ring from Gerald. The actress revealed that she lost her two other rings, taking it as a sign that their relationship was not going to last.
The comedienne said proceeds from the purchase will go to cancer patients at the Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Manila.
While she admitted that there were happy moments in her 10-year relationship with Gerald, AiAi said she no longer wanted to feel bitter about things her ex-husband did.

"Alam kong naman na wala akong pagkululang sa kanya," AiAi continued, claiming that when Gerald cheated on her she still accepted him.
The starting price AiAi gave for both rings was P350,000, prompting Boss Toyo to joke that more people in failed relationships will start selling him their rings before giving a counter-offer of P200,000.
AiAi responded with a P250,000 offer, which Boss Toyo quickly accepted, much to the comedienne's surprise.
Boss Toyo, his wife Mary Jhoy, and AiAi made the purchase official with a certificate of authentication, as well as AiAi's signature on the rings' boxes.
AiAi announced her engagement to the much-younger Gerald in April 2017. The ex couple has an almost 30-year age gap. They tied the knot later that November, but officially confirmed their separation in November last year. — Video from Boss Toyo's YouTube channel
