Titled "Beyond the Call of Duty," the action-drama features the intertwined stories of police officers and firefighters navigating loyalty, duty and personal sacrifice. It stars Martin del Rosario, Paolo Gumabao, Maxine Trinidad, Christian Singson and Devon Seron. The supporting cast that includes Jeffrey Santos, Martin Escudero, Alex Medina, Lance Lucido, Bella Thompson, Dindo Arroyo, Lovely Rivero, Sharmaine Santiago and Valerie Concepcion.

Singson is co-producing the film with his daughter Stephanie under Pinoyflix Films and Entertainment Production, Inc.

The project, which is a collaboration with the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and the PNP Officers Ladies Club (PNP OLC) Foundation Inc., aims to reshape public perception of law enforcement and recognize the risks frontline workers take.

"What I like about this project is that it shows our police as role models, so their image won't be seen as negative. It's also a good thing that the PNP OLC is involved so their programs can receive funding as well," Singson said in a press conference.

According to director and supervising producer Jose Olinares Jr., the film has been in development since early 2024.

"We started planning this in February 2024, however, only a few artists, especially the women, were willing to shave their heads," Olinares said.

"Beyond the Call of Duty" tells the story of three childhood friends — Ana, Ricky, and Daniel — who take different paths in public service. Ana and Ricky enter the Philippine National Police Academy, while Daniel becomes a firefighter, placing him on the frontlines of disaster response.

"We are very grateful to [former] Governor Chavit Singson because he has been extremely supportive. When we first approached him to produce this movie, it wasn't just about entertainment or business — the governor saw the importance of the film, the awareness brought by the storyline. While the PNP is present in the film, the focus is really on the individual personnel and their character," Olinares explained.

Olinares emphasized that the goal of the film is to show the human cost of public service.

"There's a certain awareness we want to promote — what they call 'killed in police operation.' So you'll see stories of police officers who died or were wounded in action. We recreated and reenacted those stories for the film, although it's not exactly based on true events," he said.

Olinares furthered how they wanted the film to be as realistic as possible, with uniforms and logistics coordinated directly with government agencies.

"We're also thankful to the PNP and the Bureau of Fire Protection for providing us with official uniforms to make the film more realistic. The logistics were very authentic. As we all know, it's currently prohibited to use actual uniforms in movies or TV series, but it happened in this film," Olinares shared.

Fifteen percent of the film's revenue will go to the PNP OLC Foundation to support the families of fallen and active-duty officers.

"Beyond the Call of Duty" is set to premiere later this year with support from the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the BFP.
