MANILA, Philippines — The mobility arm of the Ayala Group has rolled out a digital wallet to simplify charging for businesses’ electric vehicle (EV) fleets.

In a statement, ACMobility said it is making available a shareable digital wallet that would allow fleet managers to allocate and monitor charging credits through a single platform, ChargeFleet.

ACMobility is launching the service to help address the challenges enterprises face in managing their EV fleets, particularly fragmented payment systems, reimbursement delays and limited visibility into charging usage.

Once integrated into ChargeFleet, ACMobility will assign charging credits to fleet managers, who will be responsible for the distribution to multiple drivers.

Drivers can then track and use their assigned credits through ACMobility’s partner app Evro.

ChargeFleet is available as a prepaid product through the online ChargeFleet Store.

Users can purchase offers using GCash or a credit card.

“Our main goal has always been to build a comprehensive EV ecosystem that serves every type of driver,” Carla Buencamino, head of mobility and infrastructure at ACMobility, said.

Through the new offering, Buencamino said ACMobility aims to help enterprise clients, such as transport groups and corporate fleets, that need a professional management platform.

“This reinforces our commitment to providing the infrastructure and innovations necessary to lead the transition toward an electrified future,” she said.

To better serve customers, ACMobility plans to introduce enhancements to ChargeFleet in the future, including exclusive value-added perks integrated through the partner app Evro and the mobile EV charging station Power on Wheels.

The Ayala Group has been investing in the development of EV charging stations in line with its push for a sustainable ecosystem.
