Acclaimed photojournalist and humanitarian Alex Baluyut, 69

MANILA, Philippines — Multi-awarded veteran Filipino photojournalist and humanitarian Alex Baluyut passed away at the age of 69, his wife Precious Leano confirmed on Friday, Feb. 27. A respected figure in Philippine documentary photography, Baluyut documented some of the nation’s most critical turning points such as the final years of Martial Law and the 1986
