Abi Marquez, famously known as the “Lumpia Queen,” is among the finalists in the TikTok Presence category for the 17th Shorty Awards.
This marks Abi’s first nomination at the annual event, recognizing her influence on social media with her engaging cooking videos championing Filipino cuisine.
She is up against the likes of Amazon Music's Best in Class, Los Angeles Chargers, Spongebob 25th to name a few.
Winners during a live ceremony on May 21 in New York City.
Founded in 2008, the Shorty Awards is an annual event that honors the best content creators, influencers, brands, and organizations across social media platforms.

Abi's Shorty Awards nomination follows the two nods she received from the 2025 Webby Awards last April, where she up for two honors: The Webby Award, selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS); and the Webby People’s Voice Award, won by public voting.
In 2024, Abi was nominated for the prestigious James Beard 2024 Media Awards’ social media account category and was among the seven Filipinos in the Forbes 30 under 30 Class of 2024.
