As the Panagbenga Festival fills Baguio with flowers of every color, there’s no better complement to the celebration than a feast. Tenya, Japan’s No. 1 tempura tendon, and Racks are bringing their signature flavors to Baguio, offering the perfect spot to fuel up among the floats.

Nestled among the city’s iconic pine trees, the restaurant is housed in the former bed & breakfast and café located at 13 Leonard Wood Road, across Laperal Mansion, blending Baguio’s heritage with Tenya and Racks' signature flavors.

“Panagbenga is about bringing people together, and we’re excited to offer a space where families and friends can gather to enjoy great food,” said managing director Chukri Prieto III. “It’s the perfect stop for anyone looking to sit down and eat up.”

Soon, brand-new dishes with local ingredients will be on offer alongside beloved classics like Racks’ fall-off-the-bone baby back ribs or Tenya’s tasty tempura tendon.

“There is so much energy during Panagbenga, and we wanted to make sure our restaurant reflects that,” shared Iggy Ramos, general manager. “We hope people will make Tenya & Racks a part of their festival tradition, get some great food, and make memories!”

As colorful creations and street dancers take center stage, Racks and Tenya is the ideal Panagbenga pit stop. “We’re here to offer a welcoming space where you can enjoy a hearty meal in between all the fun,” added Denise Ramos, director for operations.
