CAMP OLIVAS, City of San Fernando, Pampanga — A series of intensified anti-drug operations across Central Luzon enabled the police operatives to arrest six pushers, including five high-value individuals (HIVs), and seized more than P2.2 million worth of illegal drugs from them on Friday and Saturday.
Among those arrested were identified only as alias "Jun," 43, said to be a big pusher from Barangay Anunas, Angeles City.
He was apprehended on Friday evening during a buy-bust conducted by the Angeles City Drug Enforcement Unit (ACDEU) and Police Station 6.
Authorities confiscated 55 grams of shabu worth P374,000 from the suspect at his hideout in Riverside Interior, Barangay Ninoy Aquino, Angeles City.
In another operation on Saturday morning, joint operatives from ACDEU and the Intelligence/Drug Enforcement Unit of Police Station 6 arrested alias "Lolet," 61, also a big pusher, and resident of Barangay Pulung Cacutud, Angeles City.

Seized from her were 53 grams of shabu valued at P360,400, marked buy-bust money and an OJO eyewear pouch.
In Bocaue, Bulacan, on the same day, Bocaue Municipal Police Station operatives arrested two HVIs identified as "JonJon," 36, and "Hapon," 30, both from Barangay Batia.
The two suspects yielded 131.17 grams of shabu worth P891,956 and a caliber.38 revolver with five bullets. They are now facing charges in violations of Sections 5, 11 and 26 of Article II of Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591, or the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act, in relation to the Omnibus Election Code (gun ban).
In Meycauayan City, Bulacan, operatives of the Meycauayan City Police Station arrested two drug personalities identified as alias "Mai," 47, a businesswoman from Barangay Malhacan, and another big pusher in alias "Carl," 33, from Caloocan City.
They were caught transacting illegal drugs inside a gray Mitsubishi Mirage G4. Operatives seized 45 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P603,000.
PRO3 Director Brig. Gen. Jean Fajardo commended the Central Luzon police operatives for their accomplishment.
"Our operatives are working 24/7 to hunt down drug traffickers and ensure that our communities remain safe," said Fajardo. "These operations demonstrate our firm resolve to dismantle drug networks and bring perpetrators to justice."
