BOCAUE, Bulacan — Sen. Joel Villanueva endorsed Cibac Party-list at the start of its campaign rally at the Municipal Covered Court of Bocaue where more than 3,000 leaders from different sectors nationwide were represented in support of the partylist.
Also present during Tuesday's rally were Bocaue Vice Mayor Sherwin Tugna and Cibac nominees led by Cibac Rep. Eddie Villanueva.
As the event marked the start of Cibac's renewed commitment to good governance, Villanueva emphasized the need to continue the party's advocacies in Congress.
"The corruption that occurs is not only in government but also in morality. This is the disease of society that is getting worse in the Philippines and around the world. And this is what the Cibac Party-List will continue to fight against," the senator said.
"Many are saying that when they are elected, they will fight corruption. But there is only one partylist whose unique advocacy is to root out corruption. Cibac Party-List is needed in our country," said Villanueva.
