CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines — Three men were arrested for allegedly carrying a shotgun in Angat, Bulacan on Friday.
The suspects – identified only as Julius, Mel and Rolly – are reportedly caretakers of a game fowl farm, according to Brig. Gen. Jess Mendez, Central Luzon police director.
Initial investigation showed the suspects were spotted by patrolling police officers walking near a convenience store in Barangay Marungko.
S/Sgt. Angelo Castro and Pat. John Loyd Lobos said that one of the suspects had a gun handle protruding from his back.
The officers arrested the suspects after one of them yielded a shotgun loaded with 11 bullets.
