MANILA, Philippines — Online delivery platform Foodpanda recently unveiled that its grocery arm Pandamart is now available 24 hours, seven days a week nationwide.
This makes the sector the Philippines' first online full grocery store to operate around the clock.
Pandamart operates differently from convenience stores as it offers a full assortment of grocery items, including fresh produce, raw meats and household essentials purchasable at any time and delivered straight to one's doorstep.
Such a feature is ideal for those with graveyard shifts, long workdays, packed calendars, late-night cravings, or in need of quick restocking.

"We recognize that consumer needs are always changing, and we need to keep up with them," said Foodpanda Philippines Director for Q-Commerce Joseph Wijesekara in a statement. "Convenience, affordability, and quality have rarely come together in one grocery experience, and that is exactly what we want to change."
Wijesekara reiterated that grocery items are now available at any time, with quality expected at prices users can afford.
Pandamart is now fully operational across major urban centers in the Philippines, including Metro Manila, Baguio, Pampanga, Cebu and Davao.
Vouchers, promotions, and discounts make everyday essentials even more affordable, with premium subscribers also not having to pay delivery fees.
