These elected and proclaimed newbies are: Amie Aguinaldo of Kawit, Davey Chua of Noveleta, Archangel ‘SM’ Matro of Tanza, Romel Magbitang of Naic, Janessa Ann Maligaya of Magallanes, Vergil Fidel of Indang, Brent Tolentino of Tagaytay City, Ed Custodio of General Mariano Alvarez and Jojo Domingo of Amadeo town.

Incumbent mayors who secured another term are Luis ‘Jon Jon’ Ferrer IV of General Trias City, Alex ‘AA’ Advincula of Imus City, Strike Revilla of Bacoor City, Jenny Barzaga of Dasmariñas City, Dr. Dahlia Loyola of Carmona City, Gemma Lubigan of Trece Martires City, Voltaire Ricafrente of Rosario, Lawrence ‘Umbe’ Arca of Maragondon, Lamberto Bambao of Ternate, Dennis Glean of Bailen, Randy Salamat of Alfonso and Cocoy Mendoza of Mendez Nuñez.

Also big winners in Cavite were GMA Mayor-elect Ed Custodio who dethroned incumbent Maricel Torres with only 2,000 votes; Naic Mayor-elect Magbitang with a margin of 7,000 votes over Vice Mayor Jun Dualan; Mayor-elect SM Matro of Tanza with a margin of 4,00 votes over Councilor Icel Del Rosario; and Kawit Mayor-elect Amie Aguinaldo with a margin of 2,500 votes over her nephew Boy Blue Abaya. – Rappler.com
